Today, 21 February 2014, our 10th class students wrote the first paper of the Matriculation Examination, conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council. The examination centre was at Dhurwa, at a distance of about 10 km from Kishor Nagar. They have to write 7 theory papers and the routine is such that they will only finish the theory papers on the 7th of March. After that there will be the science practical examinations.
43 students of Kishor Nagar are appearing for the final examinations and thanks to the very regular teaching throughout the year they feel confident that they will to do well. This is an important day in their lives. The have completed 10 years of education and now they appear for the examination in order to get the Matriculation certificate, which is the minimum qualification required for a job or for further studies.
Two vehicles were hired to take the boys to the examination centre. The problem was to find place in two vehicles.
