The Kishor Nagar Family celebrated the feast day of the Ignatius of Loyola, the Founder of the Society of Jesus on the 31st of July 2014. We started the day with special prayers thanking God for all the blessings he has bestowed on Kishor Nagar for some many years.
In the forenoon our football ‘B’ team along with a large group of supporters went to Jharna- Ashirwad (the Jesuit Spirituality Centre and Novitiate) for a friendly football match with the young Jesuits brothers in training there.
In spite of the enthusiastic support from the Kishor Nagar crowd present there, our team was defeated by 3 goals. Most of our ‘B’ players were of course a few years younger in age than the brothers.
Now our ‘A’ team (our senior boys) is training for the return match to be played in our campus on the 15th of August. That promises to be an exciting event.
In the evening the boys (one group from each class) presented a cultural programme to honour the Jesuits working in Kishor Nagar. It was a two hours programme of songs and dances with a lot of fun for al. After that the boys enjoyed some vigorous group dancing on the playground.
Very nice to see you are having so much fun!
