After the late October rains the planting of new vegetables could finally start. Onions, potatoes and radishes were planted and fields were weeded and watered.

Zonal selection hockey tournament
The Headmasters of the Jesuit Schools have planned the Jesuit Schools Hockey tournament, to be held in St. Mary’s School Samtoli.
Kishor Nagar scores it’s first goal.

Construction
The construction of the “new hall” is in progress, slowly and steadily.
Rains and work in the field
With the late and unusual heavy rains in October some of the work in the fields was delayed. But every time the weather allowed for it the boys were out there.
Football tournament
On the 5th and 6th of October the Fr. Van Bortel Memorial Munna Football Tournament was organised at Kishor Nagar for the 4th time. The tournament itself has a longer history but since the death of Fr. Van Bortel the name was changed to make it a Memorial tournament.
For the finals day the boys made a dedication to Fr. Van Bortel on the playing field.
