On friday and saturday they won all the qualification matches of their pool and so they went on to the semi-finals on sunday.
The first semi-final between Prabhat Tara and R.C.Middle School Noadih was won by Prabhat Tara, the winners of the Fr. Van Bortel memorial tournament, who went on to win also the final of this tournament.
In the second semi-final Kishor Nagar A team was pitched against St.Ignatius Gumla. They were tipped as the favourite by most bystanders and they also had the support of their friends from Prabhat Tara. All started well when quiet soon in the match they scored a goal. In the second half St.Ignatius started putting the pressure and unfortunately scored a goal two minutes before the end. Penalties had to decide and they ruled in favour of St.Ignatius. The small goalkeepers had a hard time with the full size goals.

So Kishor Nagar had to play for third place against the boys from Noadih. Less than an hour after their semi-final which ended in defeat our boys had a hard time getting into the game. However they withstood the pressure from the red team and managed to keep 0-0 score on the board. This time the penalties resulted in a win for Kishor Nagar. Even after the win they still had not forgotten their loss against St.Ignatius but arriving home in the late afternoon they were very proud to show everybody their third place trophy.

Back home. Happy with their third place trophy.
